Home improvements for after lockdown
COVID-19 has meant that many of us have been left with a lot more time on our hands – much of it spent planning what to do once lockdown ends! As you spend more time at home, you may start noticing problems you never spotted before; was the carpet always this frayed? Was my bed always this uncomfortable?
Here are two things you could do to give your home a fresh lease of life once lockdown ends; the perfect opportunity for a fresh start.
1. Buy a new mattress
Mattresses usually have a lifespan of between 7-10 years. However, even earlier than this it is possible to notice uncomfortable lumps, bumps and springs that can make getting a good night’s sleep a challenge. To avoid back pain and soreness, it is recommended that you replace your mattress as soon as it starts to become uncomfortable or disfigured.
Our stores may not be open at the moment due to government regulations, however, once lockdown is over you will be able to browse a wide range of affordable mattresses both in our stores and online.
2. Replace old carpet
Just realising how outdated and worn your carpets are? Why not give your living room, hallway or bedroom a new lease of life with a vibrant new carpet? Browse our extensive range online and find the perfect colour and texture to suit your home. Once we are back open and running again, we will be happy to process your order and offer an excellent fitting service too!
The Carpet & Bed Store may not be currently open for business, but our online store is available to you to peruse at your leisure. Once lockdown is over, we hope you bear us in mind for your home improvement requirements!
