Engineered wood flooring is made up of cleverly constructed core boards that are effectively layers and layers of ply bonded together. These boards are then topped off with a lamella or top layer of solid wood, which gives engineered wood flooring the appearance of solid wood.
Yes – we have a range of samples available in store for you to borrow or we can arrange for smaller samples to be posted to you within 3 working days, free of charge!

Engineered wooden floors are hard wearing, easy to maintain and can be sanded back and re-treated to look like new!
You can expect your delivery to take 3 to 4 working days.
Our wooden floors are suitable for use in kitchens, though additional treatment may be required. However, we do not recommend wooden flooring for bathrooms.
We do not keep all our wooden floors in stock, though can have them within 4 to 5 working days.
Once correctly installed, your wooden floor is guaranteed domestically for 45 years.
Yes – we can remove your existing flooring,
Yes – V4 wooden floors can be used with underfloor heating. As with all wooden flooring, it is critical that the heating is fully tested before installation and the surface temperature must not exceed 27ºC. Your heating should also not fluctuate excessively, as this can cause changes to the wood. For more information, enquire in store
You can ensure that your wooden floors remain looking as good as new with the following steps:
• Regular sweeping and vacuuming to gather abrasive grit and dust
• Installing mats inside and outside external doorways
• Use felt pads on furniture legs to avoid scratching
• Wipe up any spillages as quickly as possible
• Avoid using household cleaners

Yes – if you would prefer, you may use your own fitter, however, we will not be able to guarantee the installation quality or workmanship.

If you find a fault in your new wooden floor, you should contact the store immediately and we will arrange an inspection before contacting the supplier if necessary.
