Do you have pets or children?
a. Yes, both. It’s vital that my flooring is suitable for the whole family.
b. I do, but the family is not the biggest reason I’d choose flooring. I value style over practicality.
c. I don’t have either. I’m not worried about spills and damage to my flooring.
Are you looking for low-maintenance flooring?
a. Yes. Something wipe-clean that doesn’t require much maintenance at all would be perfect.
b. Something low-maintenance would be nice, but it’s not the most important thing. I would just like flooring that doesn’t harbour dirt, dust or mites.
c. Low-maintenance flooring isn’t important to me. I don’t mind investing in the occasional professional clean.
Is durability important to you when it comes to flooring?
a. Yes. I would like my flooring to be long-lasting and able to stand up to scuffs and scratches.
b. Aesthetic is more important that durability. I’d rather have something luxurious and natural, even if it isn’t as tough when it comes to wear and tear.
c. I would rather have something comfortable underfoot than something durable.
What kind of aesthetic are you looking for?
a. Something that looks like stone or wood: it doesn’t necessarily have to be made from natural materials though.
b. Natural, classy and high end.
c. Something warm and inviting, potentially colourful.
Do you want underfloor heating?
a. I would like flooring that doesn’t feel too hard underfoot and combining this with underfloor heating would be great.
b. Aesthetic matters most when it comes to flooring. Underfloor heating isn’t a big priority but it might be worth investing in to add some comfort.
c. It’s preferable to have flooring that is comfortable enough that you don’t need to invest in underfloor heating.
