Of course, the most exciting reason to get a TV bed is for the entertainment aspect. If you want to enjoy watching television without having to get up or you just want to watch more TV before going to sleep, a TV bed can be perfect: the remote-controlled mechanism that hides the TV in the bed means that you don’t even have to get up to turn it on or off.
Futuristic aesthetic
It might seem like something out of Star Trek, but we are living in an age where a screen appearing out of nowhere from the end of your bed is completely normal! If your room is kitted out with all the latest technology, such as a smart speaker or smart lightbulbs, then a TV bed is the perfect piece of furniture to fit in with the aesthetic of your room.

What might seem like the biggest gimmick of a TV bed – the retracting screen – is actually really practical. Whilst you might have your TV on top of a chest of drawers or on a table of some sort, having the ability to hide the TV will clear a little more space for other essentials. This is a huge bonus considering that you might not want to watch TV all the time.
